I HAVE MY RESIDENCE AT NEW PALASIA AREA BEING SERVICED BY MADHYA PRADESH PASCHIM KSHETRA VIDYUT VITRAN COMPANY, INDORE (MANORMA GANJ), INDORE. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS FLAT 2 BHK, IN MAY 2007 TILL MAY 2008, MY ELECTRICITY BILL IS AROUND RS 500 - 700 PM, WHICH IS QUIET REASONABLE AS PER THE ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION. HOWEVER, SINCE THE DAY, I REFUSED TO PAY BRIBE TO THE METER READER, MY MONTHLY BILL HAS SUDDENLY GONE TO RS 1000 - 3000. I TOOK ALL EFFORTS SINCE THEN, EVEN THE OTHER PARTY, TOOK SOME CORRECTIVE MEASURES ALSO, TO OUR SATISFACTION BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED, WHEREAS, WHILE INQUIRING, WE FOUND THAT OTHER CONSUMERS, HAVING SAME CAPACITY FLAT WITH SAME ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT'S ARE PAYING SAME RS 500 - 600 PM AND WE ARE PAYING JUST DOUBLE. THE SAME THING, I HAVE CHECKED IN MUMBAI, ALSO AND FOUND SAME ELECTRICITY BILL OF RS 500 - 600 PM FOR 2 BHK AT MATUNGA LOCATION.
I AM FAILED TO UNDERSTAND, WHY AM I PAYING HIGHER ELECTRICITY BILL FOR LESS CONSUMPTION ?
WHERE IS THE STATUS OF COMPLAINT, MADE AS ON 7TH JULY ? MEANS NO COMMUNICATION HAS BEEN INITIATED !!
SOME AUTHORITATIVE COMPLAINT MECHANISM HAS TO BE INITIATED BY LEGAL AUTHORITIES.
