Vodafone Chennai - Unsolicited VAS pack activation

I have requested and got activated only 'missed call intimation' service about 4 or 5 months back at Vodafone Chennai postpaid. But without me making any fresh request for any other services the service provider activates some other package and sends a activation message falsely saying as per my request. And they send it after 11.30 pm saying the charges will be reflected in the next bill. And says I should send a stop message to a number to deactivate it. And when I send the stop message it replies asking me to choose which service of the two active ones should be stopped. One of them is the one I want and the other one is the new unsolicited one. And if I miss replying to that everything is wast. All this happens at midnight when most would be sleeping. This is unethical money grabbing in the garb of VAS. And this has twice in the 4 months after activating missed call intimation service.

Complainant's Goal: Unethical business practice of Activation & charging unsolicited VAS must stop.

Hi Team,

There is no network in my place and escalated the issue multiple times and resources and no use, adding to that without my knowledge you guys revised my tariff plan & you closed all my tickets stating network issue resolved but there is no tech visit happened.

And the main issue is the customer care executives are not knowledgeable and not helpful. Half of the time they used to say no team lead or manager and system down please call after 4 to 5 hours.

I totally frustrated not even touch with family in any of emergency/medical situation.

Hi Sir/Madam,

My name is Avinash Mishra working in Chennai as a Software Engineer.Recently i moved to Chennai.Previously i was in Bangalore.My mobile number is 0********07 which was a Bangalore Number.So i thought of porting the Number .The porting of number under Chennai was successful via VX673972.
Everything was completed. But the problem is that my incoming and outgoing calls are barred.I visited Vodafone Store at Trivunmayur Chennai and Submitted my Document twice.But nothing is working fine.My number is not working Since 17 june 2016.
I called to Customer Care many twice.Each of them giving some diffrent Solution. Some telling visit vodafone store againg.Some told to recharge with 40 rs.Nothing is going good.
This is unbecoming on the part of reputed firm like yours.
I am using Vodafone Since many Years. If the problem exists i have to switch to Another operator.Please look into the matter and do the needful as early as possible.
