I have a current account in Indus Ind bank.The ac was opened in Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar-4 branch in New Delhi. The ac was opened in Aug 2016 and it was a zero balance ac. It was to be converted into a RS 25,000 min balance ac by Feb, 2017. I kept calling my relationship manager all through Jan 2017 and wanted to know when in Feb 2017 my ac would be converted into a Rs 25000 minimum balance ac. He kept telling me that he will telling me that he will inform me well in advance.
When he did not tell me until 26 Feb, 2017, I again called him and asked him. He said my ac has already been converted into Rs 25000 min bal ac. I asked him why didnt he tell me, as he had promised. He had no answer. On That day itself (26 Feb) I converted my ac into a Rs 10000 min bal ac. He promised me that no charges would be levied on my ac for non maintenance of Rs 25000 min bal.
In the last week of March 2017, I saw that penalty has been levied on my ac for non maintenance of Rs 25000. I have calling and writing mails to my relationship manager since last week of March and he has been promising that my penalty will be waived off. Now for the past few days he has stopped answering my phone calls and replying to my emails.
