While travelling from Delhi to Barmer on 11 June 2011 I waited at the OLD Delhi 1& II class waiting room near the station masters office. I wanted to use the washroom but was appalled at the state of the washtroom. There was water all around in the washroom, the toilets did not look like they had been cleaned for at least 1-2 weeks. There were cobwebs all around the ceiling, light were not working and to top it all there was no water in the taps. As a reslt the place was stinking like an open air Tiolet. When the attendent of the waiting room was questioned his abrupt and rude answer was there is no person to clean the place. He refused to give his name and also was not in uniform at the time. He had the guts to tell me "Why dont you just go ahead and go your way instead of creating a scene." It is really a pain to see the hard earned money paid for tickets does not afford us any comforts in our own country. Also if goverment employees have this kind of attitude god alone can help up. If this is the state in Delhi where we have all the high officials what can we expect in the rest of the country.
