To whomsoever it may concern:


I would like to draw your kind attention towards the following serious issues that we came across during our trip ASIAN WONDERS from 24rth onwards:2011

1.Delivery of ticket , visa and Tour Program

We were delivered ticket, Visa and program after my continuous follow up at around 17:00 hrs on the evening of 23rd March 2011 with telephonic confirming that departure time is 22:40 hrs before delivery . I by chance read the departure time which was actually 19: 05 Hrs. Had we relied on Mr Ashish (Gurgaon office) for departure time we would not have been able to Board the plane.
We had to rush to the airport in a jiffy. Only we know how we managed to reach the airport just seconds before flight was going to takeoff. We could board the flight with great difficulty after lot of problems.

Could you please explain why the tickets were delivered at the last moment when we had booked the same well on advance and were issued on 5th may 2011.

We never expected this treatment from agency of your repute.

2 On arrival in Singapore at 6 am, After long and tiring journey we reached Singapore at around 6:00 hrs in the morning, we were horrified to note that the hotel cityhub was booked from 3 pm onwards and the tour manager asked us to keep the luggage in the hotel lobby and pass time till then. After a long journey to reach Singapore instead of giving us a place to rest n freshen up, we were told to pass time somehow!no breakfast and no lunch on the first day. We fail to understand how and why the hotel was not booked on arrival.

3On Return journey there was a gap of 28 hours in connecting flight from clombo to India.

We reached Colombo at 11 am and next flight was a day after without any hotel stay. Airport authorities asked us to go out and come back next day at scheduled flight time. We had no information on this situation and had no option but to reschedule and rebook our tickets after great effort and persuasion and extra cost. It is very strange that tour was planned in highly unprofessional manner. We also encountered problems in claiming the baggage at the airport airlines in Malaysia booked our luggage only till Colombo. I am enclosing the reciept for the same and hope that you'll credit it in our account.

We are surprised to note that connecting flight was planned with stay and visa for the stop over. We would like to have an explanation for same and reserve our rights to seek damages for the same.



TO SUMMARIZE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE:

 We went through hell, we had planned our holidays to relax and enjoy and relied on Thomas Cook for planning the same professionally. I am sure that we would have certainly planned better vacations than what was done by your agency.
 We feel helpless, cheated and victimized by Thomas Cook.
 We had never thought that it would turn out that bad.
 This was our individual experience but the generalised opinion was:
 " unchi dukan, phika pakwaan"



HOPE THAT YOU WILL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND TAKE CORRECTIVE MEASURE SO THAT CUSTOMERS DONOT SUFFER AS WE DID.

Unfortunate I must say. However regarding the baggage at the airports, that is an endless problem with airlines, especially on connecting flights. The airline recently misplaces my luggage on a Del-Mum flight, on a domestic airline. Travel agencies have no control over luggage handling.

I think you should have checked the bookings details in advance! In peak season one should be little more cautious for hotel & flight bookings to avoid any inconvenience.
