this is to inform u espicially miss mamta banerjee how unsafe it is to travel on railways in her state .
my wife was travellind on 17.7.2010 on hatia howrah at night her whole suitcase which was secured with chain was cut and stolen,it contained her gifted precious ornaments ,watch ,gold chain and other valuble items.
when we went to lodge a complain in howrah the attidude of th railway police was was so disheartining as to say it nor worth, once gone lost for ever
this incidence has shattered my wife and she dosent want to travel by train anymore .
if there is any law an order will any body able to something to retrive the lost articles .complaint noGRPS-GDE 1301. is there any system where we can get any sort of compensation by railways? it might be too much to ask as so mamy people loose their life in railways accident and no body is bothered

complaint--- train no 5609 abadh assam exp. dated- 19 jul 2010 from ghy to dlh the ac of 2a coach is not working from the njp station.we are requesting from T.T.E. to rectife this problem but they are not tacking searasli.after a long time at mfp the techanicl staff of the stations com to A1 coach but he do nothing after it we requested the T.T.T.E to give us the complaen book but he deny & said that the complaen book that the gard had comp book.we are sttil suffring from the A.C.problem &no one is redeey to tack our prob. seresaleat last last we are thru the net in the hop that any on will do ser. complane

I support this complaint. . You can file a case for compensation from the Railway Authorities, due to their negligence / deficiency in services, since persons other than reserved passengers should not enter the reserved coaches.
