I bought a sealed pack of corn flakes (500g pack; Brand name : Mum\'s; MRP: Rs. 62; Offer price : Rs. 49)) from Spencer\'s Retail outlet at Fun Republic Mall in Gomatinagar, Lucknow on 14.08.2009. On opening the contents and pouring into a bowl of milk, dead insects were observed floating in it. I would like to know how is it that these brands are allowed to market their products without the necessary quality checks in such renowned retail outlets as Spencer\'s?
Complainant's Goal: To prevent stocking of cheap quality local brands by Big Retail Brands.

I ordered 20 kg Spencers Bashkati Rice by online and made full payment amongst other items. However they delivered Miniket Rice which is of inferior quality. I lodged complaint the very next day and since then I have 3-4 calls and despite their assurance they have not bothered to take back the wrongly supplied product nor refund my money. I fail to understad what level of checks are in place at your end prior to despatch
