I had purchase the whirlpool split AC on 19th March 2017, 1st service of AC was done in Oct, 2017, request for this was initiated from the whirlpool customer care and not by me. Upon asking customer care executive said its company policy to provide timely services to the customer, he also told me that 2nd service will be done in Mar 2018 by the company and both the services are free.

I've waited while march month for service engineer visit but I've not received any call from customer care or visit by service engineer, so on 4th April 2018 I called the customer care that the service engineer needs to do the 2nd service of the AC, and then customer care executive raised a request for AC service .
Now, on reaching the site and seeing the bill service engineer is saying that this product is out of warranty since 19th mar2018 now, and the service will be chargeable.

I told him that I was told the that the 2nd service will be free and it will be done by the company itself so I need to send any request. If I had known that I need to request for the service visit then I would have done it 15days earlier.

So he said he need to speak to his supervisor regarding this and upon talking with his supervisor over phone call he said supervisor is denying the free service as the product is out of warranty.

So I talked with the supervisor, and told him about the information that I had with my previous conversation with the customer care executive and service engineer, But he said its the responsibility of the customer and not of the company to raise timely service requests.

So my question is, if the customer care executive and the service engineer who case of 1st service said that the 2nd service will be free and the service will be done by the company on time, I don't need to worry about it and I don't need to request for it.
who is going to take the responsibility of that wrong information?

and why do I need to pay for the 2nd service if it was free?

Complainant's Goal: whirlpool should take the full responsibility for wrong info & provide service
