I bought one Samsung Airconditioner Model 121 UBF from Meenakshi Fan House, Madurai on 25th Feb 2012.

It was working will till one year and then the problem arose. Cooling was dropped due to gas leak. The service personnel refilled

gas twice at my cost. Then found manufacturing defect in cooling coil and replaced by the company duly under warranty terms.

Again the cost for refilling gas was on my part.


It is ok. Now a another problem came, the machine gave burning / melting smell and traced by the personnel that the blower motor burned.

The mistake is not on the side of the consumer as the A/c machine was packed up with stabilizer sold along with a/c machine.


Now service personnel of the dealer demands cost of blower motor as the warranty expired.


Now the following questions arise;

1. Is it the quality of the Samsung products?

2. Being the customer of Samsung products, should I be penalized?

3. As warranty terms ensure ONE- YEAR period for servicing, Samsung Ltd, exploits the consumers by selling a product which lasts

for just one - two years.


I request the authorities to look into my case and do needful at the earliest.
