I had given my Samsung note 3 mobile to my wife for safe keeping in her hand bag before we went to sleep. This is during the night of 29-12-2016 while travelling from Hyderabad to Chennai by CHARMINAR EXPRESS (12760) in coach A4 in berth numbers 11 and 12. At around 2.30 in the morning of 30-12-2016, railway police (in khakhi uniform) woke up my wife saying that her bag along with another hand bag is lying near toilet. We went and identified my wife's handbag. After careful verification, we found my mobile to be missing along with some cash of Rs. 400. Other belongings were intact.
We requested the officials in the train as well as in Chennai Central to register complaint but they advised us to launch the complaint with AP police. The incident seems to have occurred in such way that the thief entered and escaped in Vijayawada station.
I request the concerned police authorities to trace the mobile as it has some valuable data.
The phone was purchased through IIT Madras and it was purchased on 22-12-2014. The Stores Received Book (SRB) number is ME 8912 and the purchase order number is METTML2014MGOVPCF 001.
