This is Adip M Kottari, I reside near to Kengeri(Bangalore) and work at ITPL(Tech park Whitefield).
My working timings is from 1 PM to 10 PM. There are hundreds of workers like me work in Whitefield from kengeri or nearby area.

One of the common issue in Bangalore is commuting. I take a bus – to the nearby metro station (30-40 min) – Metro traveling( 35 min) – Metro station – ITPL( 40 -60 min). One way traveling time approx 2 ½ hrs minimum. It's always been hectic to travel, taking 5 - 6 hrs of my time every day.


Traveling time can be reduced with the Small help from Indian railway(SWR).

Here is a suggestion
• There is a Passenger train Chamarjanagar – Nelmangala Pass(56281/Chamarajanagar - KSR Bengaluru Passenger) It reaches Kengeri at around 11:50 AM and reaches SBC by 12:30.
If this train can reach SBC on time by 12:15 Pm, then we can catch MEMU leaving to Marikuppam @ 12:20 PM( 66511/KSR Bengaluru – Marikuppam).

The main problem here is Chamarajanagar passenger train never reach SBC on time. It reaches at around 12:30 and quite often we miss Bangerpet MEMU. Chamarjanagar Passenger is a long distance train it may not reach on time due to several reasons.

If not can SWR change the timing of Bangerpet MEMU from 12:20 to 12:35 PM ? All we need is 10 – 15 min of extension, by doing this SWR is helping hundreds of employee’s traveling to ITPL. This is just a timing change this doesn’t require any investment and in return, SWR can earn some more revenue with additional commuters.

• One more suggestion Marikuppam MEMU leaving @ 12:20 PM doesn’t stop at new railway station Hoodi(HDIH). If this train stops at 1 min, it will help us.
