Southern Railway - Refusing to book a window seat in spite of availability

On 13/11/2017 I booked second seating ticket for myself & my wife by Pallavan Express(No.12605) dt 01/12/2017 at Srirangam booking counter and specifically mentioned one window seat in the reservation form. But the Lady ticket clerk booked 2 seats without a window seat. I asked her that I requested for a window seat for which she said no window seat is available. On coming home I found that more than 1100 seats under general category are available. I don't understand what difficulty the clerk is having in booking a window seat when almost the entire general quota seats are vacant.
May I request whether any remedy/rectification of this deliberate mistake/action is possible.

I am at a loss to to find that no response to my complaint even after two days. I think no action will be taken till my journey pertaining to the complaint is completed thereby nullifying the purpose of the complaint.
