I PURCHASED WHIRLPOOL-ICEBERG-340 LIT REFRIGERATOR FOR Rs.25000/ FROM M/sSOWNDARYA DGITAL MALL ON 30-12-2006. THE CORSSOR UNIT FAILED IN APRIL 09 DURING 5Yr WARRANTY.AFTER PURSUING FOR A WEEK,THE FIRM MADE FREE REPLACEMENT AT A COST OF Rs1670/
THE COMPRSR FAILED AGAIN FOR THE 2nd TIME ON 3-6-09. INVIEW OF REPEATED FAILURES ;THE FIRM WAS ASKED TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE, SUBSTANDARD FRIDGE WITH A NEWONE.THE FIRM REFUSED TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE FRIDGE BUT ONLY CHANGED COMPR AGAIN WITH A PROMISE THEY WOULD REPLACE WITH A NEW PIECE IF THERE IS A THIRD FAILURE.
THE FAILURE OF FRIDGE CAUSES TERRIBLE INCONVENIENCE WITH SO MANY SPOILED ITEMSTHROWN AROUND.I STRONGLY ADVICE CONSUMERS TO THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING WHIRLPOOL FRIDGE.
TO GET THIS REPLACEMENT,IHAD TO FOLLOWUP WITH VIZAG,HYDREABAD,NEWDELHI,GURGAO
