Croma Retail - Product not as explained while buying

I have purchased a Sony Home theater from Croma Retail on 31-12-2013 vide invoice number SLF02A073030021818 in Bangalore Banashankari Outlet. The technician who attended me said that the Home theater gives Digital Audio from Television with HDMI Cable and I procured a HDMI Cable also for the same. But the product is not compatible giving Digital audio output from TV and the same was confirmed by Sony Technician who arrived for giving a Demo. The Croma technician is denying to have communicated anything about Digital audio and they are not willing to replace or exchange the product. I have also told that I would pay the difference amount. They are telling that the product can't be replaced as the packing is damaged.

Kindly help in exchanging the product as it is not as specified by them and of no use as such for me.
