For a booking of Tata Nano made in April 09 (when bookings were open, booking no UIN 220002680), am struggling to get a refund back after non-allotment. Have repeatedly called Tata helplines (020 number, need to make a long distance call each time to talk to them) and each time I get a different date but refund is never done on the promised date. Looks like Tata is in severe financial crisis and is looking to gobble up people\'s money like so many fly-by-night companies have already done. Anybody who is paying upfront money to Tata Motors needs to be wary - there seems to be a strong chance that you will never get it back.
