Gulf Air - Non cooperative and rude staff at Gulf Air costumer services

Dear Concern person,

I was traveling to Katmandu Nepal on 4th March 2012, by Gulf air flight GF260, and I reached at the boarding counter with my confirmed ticket, 2 hours prior to the flight time, the person at the boarding counter kept me waiting for more than half hour then he send me to the Gulf air customer services saying that the flight is full and I should talk to them.

The person sitting at the Gulf air costumer services told me that he only has one seat left which is in business class and he can get me that seat if I pay him the difference of the fair. I replied him that I will pay the difference of fair because I had to go on this flight due to my meeting schedules and hotel booking at Crown Plaza.

After some time the Gulf air people gave that one seat to one of their gold card member and told me that they cannot help me and they can only get me a seat in the same time flight next day. After arguing with them for more the half hour finely they issued me a boarding pass on the next flight which is on the next day.

I am very upset with the Gulf air because they caused me a lot of stress which is not only because of my schedule is totally upset, my booking at the hotel is wasted and most importantly because of their staffs sitting at the costumer services are totally non cooperative and rude.

Because of this I will think several times before, if I had to fly with Gulf air and I will also make sure to advice all the people I knew never to fly with Gulf air again.

Thanks for ruining my whole trip.
