NOKIA\'s HANDSETS ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL. NOKIA\'s POLICY IS TO CHARGE ON RECURRING BASIS TO SELL ITs MOBILE PHONES. Please read my communications with NOKIA in support of my VIEW:
Sir,
I know warranty period of my handset is over, and your NCC told me that estimate is likely to be more than Rs. 3,000/-. But in addition to this what I want to tell that, I also know I have to make payments of this type for unlimited times. This is what I have experienced by purchasing THREE NOKIA N-series handsets.
So I would prefer to garbage this handset and now switch over to SAMSUNG/ERRICSON mobile phone. If I am ready to put Rs. 15,000/- again, why should not I take precaution from getting trapped in NOKIA’s recurring payment for purchasing a good handset.

I don’t want NOKIA’s association any more sir. Thanks again for your CO-OPERATION and valuable suggestion.
Regards
Vikash Anand

Dear Mr Vikash,

Greetings !

We have tried to repair your h/s at Panipat Care Centre, which you have submitted for a hang issue. But as you are facing this issue even after software upgradation of same, so we have to send your handset at our back-end for further repair, so that this issue can be fixed permanently.

Thus, I will request you to submit your h/s with Panipat Care Centre, so that we can get same repaired from back-end, & they will provide you estimate value for the repair, as your handset warranty has been expired already on 10-April-2008.

Waiting for your kind revert on same.

Thanks & Regards,

Malkiat Singh

Dear Sir,
Please go through the entire chain of this mail and accept the truth that, buying NOKIA N-series mobile phone is not a onetime payment, rather it is recurring type payment, and after your hectic day to day schedule, you have to be there at NCC queue on a regular basis.

I was telling my problems about the N-73 (which you had replaced my N-91 8 GB) after realizing that the handset was unable to use. Again I started facing similar problems with this N-73, and when I started making complaints, you tried to hide your faults quoting so many irrelevant facts to me, e,g. Its like computer, its software needs upgradation, software of my handset has gone outdated, after updating the software problems would vanish. But you never replied to my query ‘What is the average life of a NOKIA N-series mobile phone’. In my view average life is 8-12 months and after this period it starts troubling the user. And the user has to make recurring payments every now and then to make it work. What else the innocent/helpless user can do after putting 14,000/- rupees and his belief to NOKIA. He has no choice other than to make recurring payments.
As per your suggestion, I had given my handset to NCC for software upgradation, but the problem had not at all recovered. I was again called by NCC to review problems. I submitted my handset to NCC on 27.11.09, and they told that it is to be kept with them for monitoring the problem. After detailed examination, they told me next day that, the handset is having a number of problems, as if, I was injecting problems is the past one year operation. I used my handset so carefully that it still looks new. They told me, the handset is required to be sent to HO and rectification charge is likely to be more than Rs. 3,000/-.
Now please tell me, is it not a recurring type payment against my purchase, is it not true that every N-series is bound to suffer from problems after 8-10 months and user has to make further payments. I wont request you to rectify my handset without any charge, rather I request you to accept these true and practical allegations, which you never accepted in spite of so many problems faced by me and letting you to know all the problems. I wont spend a single penny over this bloody handset, whether it works or not. I’ll garbage it and buy any other handset by SAMSUNG/ERICSSON, but not spend any more loyalty to NOKIA. Because I know very well that it will again go into troubles like my N-91, N-91 8 GB, and I’ll have to keep paying like Rs. 3,000/- with no limit.

Thanks for your co-operation
Regards

Dear Sir,
As per my belief about Nokia, the new NOKIA N-73 which you had replaced for NOKIA N-91 has also gone same way. It started hanging very seriously. Its IMEI no. is 355********1721. But you had crossed my belief that not all NOKIA phones suffers with problems. Its proof of my belief and experience about NOKIA phones. Now what should I do, my warranty is also over. Again I have to visit your NOKIA care frequently now.

Dear Sir,
I had been told on 20th Aug evening to go to Nokia care on 21st Aug after 10 am by Mr Malkit, with all the accessories of old N-91 set and collect my replaced handset. Yesterday morning also I had a call from Mr Kumar(01244199214) to collect my handset immediately. So after such confirmations, I took leave, and reached Nokia care by 3.30 pm. After reaching there, I was told that they did not receive handset till that time. I got so much irritated. Moreover, the person from Nokia care informed me that only loose handset has been dispatched from HO and I’ll have to wait for the accessories. This means I have to make some more visits to Nokia care, of which I am so much scared.

Dear Sir,
After waiting for one week today your representative Mr Malkit, Panipat told me they have put my set under quality control, and its not sure still now that my handset will be replaced or not.
After being so much harassed, I had demanded for the replacement of my handset, as it faced exactly the same fault twice within one week and handset being within warranty period. My warranty expires on 24.09.08. You please reply me, is this a proper solution? What if the set again face the same problem just after expiry of warranty period. Its almost clear that any of your representative did not give his ear to my crying. I faced exactly same problem with my earlier set also, twice in the present set, but you are still adamant keeping your quality on the top most.
Lastly I can tell only one thing that I am repenting a lot, recreating faith on Nokia . This is the last time for me and all my knowns making a faith on Nokia. Now I have known Nokia from top to bottom.
Thanks for being so much customer friendly.
Regards.
Vikash Anand.
