This is Mohit Deulkar . I was returning from my native place with my family (Myself/ Wife/Father/Mother and Daughter(infant)) on 24 - 25 sept 2012. I was travelling by Matsyagandha express. My journey started at 9 - 1:15 P.M on 24 sep 2012. I occupied my seats (S9 : 2,3,5 and 6). There were 4 people were seating in front of us on one seat. They got down after Thane station.

earlier everything was very fine. At 10-10:30 P.M we decided to go to sleep , as I was going to attend the office next day morning.
my wife was sleeping on middle seat . She was having her ladies purse with her which was containing gold plated wrist watch with white belt , 3 mobiles (noika- black color , Samsung champ - pink color , LG cookie pep (silver/black color) , pan card , her siemence ID card , Bank of India Cheque book and Gold nath (Nasal ornament). around 2 - 2:45 clock she woke up and she found that teh purse is not tehre. I was sleeping on upper birth. she woke me up and told me the same. That time the person from the above mentioned 4 people was seating just below her birth (birth no 4) . We asked alll of them but they asked us to check their bag.
At Veer station when railway stopped due to signal , there were 3 railway policeman standing , I went there and explained them an issue. but they did not take teh stricty action . Even they did not bother to ask all those 4 people about their tickets , as they were seating on one seat . They gave me their tourch and asked me to search .Ideally It's their duty to search but they did not.

They asked me to get down at Thane and file a complaint. If they would have taken a string action result would be different.

The purse was stolen between Chiplun and Panvel. And there were no stop for that train between these 2 stations.
the train halt at Veer and Apta station due to signal. As I mentioned at Veer station i called up 3 railway police. In the bag mobiles were there i was continuosly calling on my wife's mobile number it was ringing but not able hear the sound. I showed teh same to police man as well. But he did not take an appropriate action. The other 2 policeman were telling him(Leader police) to stop the train by informing the railway board , but he was not ready for that.

From the ticket we can identify the four people's address and we can proceed with the action.

My wife has already raised a missing complaint in Thane railway police station . Can I raise FIR in thane railway police station ?

I am expecting a justice from your side.
