Student - my laptop is facing a software as well as hardware problem. Plz help me out.

I have purchased Dell Inspiron Laptop in March 2010 . There is software as well as a minor hardware problem . Plz check the problem and fix it up as soon as possible.

Complainant's Goal: my laptop should start working, its completely dead.
