I was coming from Malad via Aarey Colony. When I reached at L&T signal near Powai I had to take left as I was going home to Bhandup. I was with my friend on my scooty. I looked at the signal and the indicator was blinking green to take left turn and so I did.

When I was taking turn I saw there were traffic police officers standing. One of the suddenly came in the middle of the road and said me to stop and so I did. I taught this is a normal checking for license and paper.

I showed the police officer my license and scooty's paper. All were clear and I was wearing helmet too.
Then the police officer said you jumped the signal which I didn't there were two more guys they said them the same thing. I totally got mad.

I said them I didn't jumped any signal. when I came the signal was green there was absolute no reason why I have to jump the signal anyways.

The TPO said pay rs50 (bribe) or get the challan. I said I will not pay a single penny for what I have done nothing.

Then the traffic police officer said don;t talk non sense you did jump the signal again I said no I didn't.
He said then prove it in the court. I was totally shocked what to say.

It looks like now all citizens are criminal they this stupid corrupt officers got have become everything to say anyone is gulity and no we he to prove we are not wrong.

Really I was not going to anyway pay any fine or bribe. The TPO was clearly lying. We had some harsh word the that TPO. He forcefully made a challan for signal jumping and said prove that in court or collect your license at RTO office sakinaka.

I don't want to get the license by paying any kind of fine. Because I haven't broke any rules instead I need to see the TPO behind bar and suspended right away.

Just because of this kind of officer citizen start thinking everyone is like that.
I am a 23 old student who know little bit about what is right and wrong.
And what happened to me was totally unacceptable and punishable.

I have the challan now its mentioned that I can collect the license before 18th April else on 19th April I have to go to the court. And no doubt I will be going to the court. But still is there any fast and quick way sort this.

This is a public board so I have to clam myself, else I am really very frustrated and done with this.
Please please I don't want my anger to get wasted instead please help me to get justice and the TPO suspended.
