Complaint by: Sarika Tiwari on November 23, 2017, 6:37 pm in Banking and Finance

Hi
This is Sarika Tiwari. I have bought a brand new Grand I10 sportz from Hyundai and was financed by a Bank

Bank: STATE BANK OF INDIA

Address: MOTI MAHAL MARG, HAZARATGANJ, LUCKNOW
State: UTTAR PRADESH
District: LUCKNOW (Click here for all the branches of "STATE BANK OF INDIA" in "LUCKNOW" District)
Branch: LUCKNOW MAIN BR.
IFSC: SBIN0000125

I Bought the car on September 21st 2017
I was suppose to pay the EMIs from 20th October 2017 onwards but there was no amout deducted and I called them couple of times regarding same between 15th to 22nd of October 2017 and got an statement that your EMI will start from November 2017 onwards.
In november 2017 they deducted 2 EMIs without prior notice.

Now they are saying "By mistake bank forgot to deduct the EMI for that month".

My point is that if its there mistake why should i suffer.
I am a middle class person with a family to run and now because of bank's fault my whole budget for this month is completely messed up. All my planning flopped. Feeling like a begger who is running around rearranging money to to fulfill other neccessary requirements. If it was possible for me to manage this much deduction for a car per month I would have gone for a much bigger Car.

Apart from all this when i called one of the employee there he started misbehaving on call he was very much annoyed like a Collection agent stating that "Bank very often makes such mistakes and is legally eligible to deduct any amount anytime that is due and without serving any prior notice. It's your fault why have you taken loan from us. "
