MTNL Telephone# 28683137
My past and current MTNL bill shows that I have the Xpress_UL_Combo_650 plan (for which the price is Rs. 650/- according to MTNL website: http://mtnlmumbai.in/index.php/broadband-services), but I am charged at the rate of Rs. 699/- as monthly service charge. This is going on since past 6 months.
I called their customer service, I was informed that there is an internal price increase (to my surprise as I was never informed of it), so my bill is showing Xpress_UL_Combo_650 plan, but I have to pay Rs. 699 per month. This is not fair. First they autonomously downgrade my plan so it fits their internal pricing scheme and secondly I am overcharged for the plan I never booked.
Goal: (1) Please bill me Rs. 699 per month, but provide me Xpress_UL_Combo_699 plan (as per MTNL website). In short, bill me for what I asked for. (2) If there is a price increase or other changes in service, please inform the customer via email or circular. This is normal customer service protocol. Thank you.
