On 22-12-2014 I boarded a bus route no:600 CF reg no KA-57-F-256 at around 20:15 hrs from my office bus stop(Wipro Gate) to my friend's home which is located at BTM layout stage-1.Once the bus reached AXA bus stop at aroung 20:50 hrs ,I prepared to get down.There was a rush,one fellow leaned on me & obstructed from getting down.once I get down,immediately I came to know that my mobile stolen.Again I boarded the same bus before it started from the stop.A co-passenger helped me,by providing his mobile & insisted me to call my number.I dialled my number & the ring went,since my mobile was in VIBRATE mode I can't hear the sound.After 4-5 calls the mobile got switched off purposely by the thief,since the charge was almost 80% when it was stolen.I got down from the bus at CENTRAL mall bus stop at around 21:15 hrs having lost my mobile.
Then at around 22:30 hrs me & my friend went to MADIWALA police station to report the theft.The police person there asked about incident & then asked me come tomorrow morning 10 AM with purchase bill of my mobile,because the person incharge to take the complaint is not available.
The next day me & my friend went there at around 10:30 AM to MADIWALA police station,the police person asked me write a complaint letter.I wrote the letter that "my mobile has been theft while travelling in BMTC bus yesterday night" and gave it to police person incharge.Then he asked me to change the subject from THEFT to LOST.Then I again wrote another compliant letter & gave it to him,afterwards they gave an acknowledgement slip only.
REMARKS:
The central government has made mandatory to file FIR for mobiles which were theft .But
Why an FIR is not made by the police ?

ADVISE:
Try to use headphones & hear songs while travelling in buses,because this might help you when someone tries to steal your mobile.Be REALLY CAREFUL while boarding & alighting a bus because this is place where the thief steals from you.
Also the thieves were in groups some leans on you & distract you & the other steals you.This is what happened to me
