Sub: Misselling and Misguidance on Reliance Insurance Policy

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had started an Reliance Policy No. 50232866 made on 6/7/2012 with Rs.10,000/- vide Ch No.297069 Dtd. 24/6/12 of Punjab National Bank. Premium Paying term for this policy is 07 Years and Policy Term is for 15 Years.

The Policy Made by the Tele-calling officers of Reliance Life. They assured me something fake that I came to know later on. The Agent/Broker was: Probus Insurance Broker Limited, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

After that, on the time of Renewal; Mr. Subir Das (********18/********75) from Reliance told that if I pay the premium before next premium date i.e 6/7/2013 then the old premium will merge with a New Enhanced Policy which will be beneficial for me. So, on 5/7/2013, I paid him my second installment (Ch No.297089 Dtd.28/6/13 of Punjab National Bank) on behalf of Reliance Life against that new Merged Policy No.51081357. Premium Paying term of that new policy was 05 Years and Policy Term is for 15 Years. But in policy docs I found only Rs. 11990.39/- was showing.

I did contact Mr.Subir for this inconvenience, he assured that being a staff of Reliance he can merge those two policies using their staff code. But after several visits in Reliance Office and several assurances of Mr. Das problem was continuing.

After that I visited Reliance Live Office in 38b, 4th Floor, Himalaya House, Chowringhee Road, Kolkata, West Bengal On September’13 discuss the matter with Mr. Vishal Barman ********04 Area manager of your company, he assured that he will apply Freelook those policies one after one but I must open new policy from him, he give me Freelook Cancellation Request form also, But when I tried submitting the form with cancellation cheque in that particular Branch, they were not ready to accept the form because the time limit of that Freelook get over.
Mr. Barman suggested me to submit that form to his own home Branch 206, 2nd Floor, Opposite Cesc Office, A J C Bose Road, Shyambazar, Kolkata – 700004, On October’13 but they also refused to take that application.
After that, I send mail also to the Manager Mr.Arindam Santra Mob: ********04 for this purpose and also send all scan copy of the documents in November’13. After discussion with the head Office & Mr.Barman he suggested me for applying again to Reliance Life Insurance.
For this misaligns I am facing lot of problems. My premium is still showing due so received phone calls and sms from Reliance every day. I am a retired person and I already paid Rs.21,990/- to your company only due to misguidance, mis-selling of your employees. I have no other earning option in this age of 67 and Rs. 21,990 is very valuable for my life in this current scenario.

Please help me out to refund the amount of Rs. 21,990/- with interest till date and make me obliged enough.
