Malpractice at petrol pump
This is to register a complaint regarding the malpractice at AUTO YARD SERVICE STATION, Dealer of Indian Oil Corp. near Apollo hospital, 13 KM Mathura Road, New Delhi.
I recently had happened to fill petrol at the above said petrol station; I had gone there on 10-02-2013 at around 9.40 PM to fill petrol for Rs.1000. The guy entered 1000 on the meter and he didn’t ask me to check the zero, but I was still watching the meter. As soon as he started the meter it jumped directly to 2.6 and the guy stopped and restarted it, the next time it again jumped to 3.2. This thing was repeated four times with the meter jumping to 3.5 the third time and to 5.65 the fourth time. After repeated goof up’s by the guy, I immediately got down and said that you are cheating. The guy admitted that the machine was faulty and had a problem with the meter. I asked him to call the manager and also asked for the complaint book. They were reluctant to take my complaint and more over didn't allow me to register a complaint in the register. I made a ruckus about it and finally the senior guy came with the complaint book without a carbon paper, however they provided me the carbon paper after repeatedly asking for the same. They asked me to pay the full amount Rs.380 and refused to give me the bill as I have already registered the complaint. I request the competent authorities/the management at IOC to take notice of this issue and also request you to kindly go through the CCTV footage during the mentioned date and time in my complaint. I believe this is their modus-operandi......in the night time because if they knew that the machine is faulty, “WHY DID THEY USE IT TO FILL PETROLâ€. These unscrupulous dealers of yours are giving IOCL a bad name. Kindly look into my complaint on urgent basis, following are my contact details:-

I recently had happened to chech a air pressure of my car at the above said petrol station; I had gone to check my tyre pressure several times . The guy refused to check it by saying that this air pressure is fixed by us and it depends upon us that to whom we have to chech a air pressure and there is no order from a company to fill air to any car. This thing was repeated many times with me and many of my friends . After repeated goof up’s by the guy, I immediately got down and said that you are cheating. I asked him to call the manager and also asked for the complaint book. They were reluctant to take my complaint and more over didn't allow me to register a complaint in the register. They asked me to pay the full amount Rs.20 to check a air pressure for all 4 tyres and refused to give me the bill . I request the competent authorities/the management at IOC to take notice of this issue . I believe this is their modus-operandi......in every time because if they knew that there is a order from a company to check a pressure in free of cost in all filling stations, “WHY DID THEY NOT USE IT TO FILL A AIRâ€. These unscrupulous dealers of yours are giving IOCL a bad name.
