My blackberry mobile was stolen today, 26th July 2010, at 11:30 on a 401 bus towards Bommanahalli on Roopesandra bus stop. The bus was full of rush. I am sure because I had the phone before boarding the bus below silk board flyover. Just the bus left roopesandra bus stop, I did realised that my phone was lost, I borrowed a co-passenger's phone and dialled. It was ringing and not heard any ring in the bus. It is a blackberry phone, so if the thief is not a sophisticated person, he won't be able to put it in vibration or silent mode. I got down at Bommanahalli and came back to Roopesandra bus stop. Since I got another phone and sim and tried all the way back to roopesandra. He was not picking up the phone. But when I reached Roopesandra stop he did picked. I spoke in Hindi, as I am not good at Kannada. He also spoke in Hindi very well and told me to come at Udupi Sagar near BTM bus depo. I reach there in another 20 mins and started ringing the phone. It was ringing and even I did SMSed him to return my phone. He started disconnecting the phone, later did switched it off. I understood that he doesn't know how to use this phone, as he was struggling to switch it off. I called the Airtel customer care and blocked the outgoing from the SIM. Can you kindly trace the phone and return to me ASAP. There were lots of official emails in the phone and I don't want to jeopardise my job. The phone number is ********11. I don't currently have this IMEI number with me. It may be in the mobile package. I need to get it from home.
