The call center executive of the above mentioned company called me up on 29th May 2010 saying that they got a special offer for me which is being given to only to few of the selected customers and is valid if I accept the offer now on phone itself.
They committed to give following for payment of Rs 25798:
1. Aiptek Wireless projector worth Rs 70000
2. Philips Home Theater System with DVD worth Rs 25000
3. Gold Voucher worth Rs 50000. (All the vouchers can be used in single transaction or multiple transaction at my choice)
4. Return Air ticket for one person on any domestic route in India
5. Interest free EMI facility (15 EMIs) for payment of Rs 25798 payable starting from the end of 2nd month from the date of purchase.

Again they were suppose to deliver the goods with in 7 days at max and also to deliver gold vouchers immediately.

However after two months of continuous follow up and after lot of harassment for me they informed that they are sending the goods and description of goods were not as per the commitment given to me. I told them not to send the same as it is not as per their commitment. However they sent the goods in 1st week of July 2010 and left the spoiled packet(Containing Projector, DVD Player and Home theater) unattended at Building gate. The goods were not received in full and were not of the worth mentioned to me while selling them. They also said that I can not use the gold vouchers as per my choice and I can use only one voucher per transaction. However no vouchers received They did not delivered on other promises.

Even the payment of Rs 25798 got debited to my credit card immediately which put lot of financial burden on me as it was pre condition for placing the order that the payment will be made in 15 interest free EMI.

After speaking to them I arranged for return of goods at my cost to them thru blue dart courier. However despite several attempt and communication their office refused to accept the parcel back without giving any reason. Which clearly show their poor apathy for customers and how they fool them.

I made continuous efforts from my side to make them to deliver on their promises.
I continuously followed up with them and also provided all the details to them about the
commitment they made. Initially they refused to accept that I made any payment and asked me to submit the credit card statement, which I did.

Subsequently they said they will retrieve the conversation record of their employee to confirm my claim. However despite continuous follow up they did not confirm the status.

Then they asked me to return the goods at my cost and expense. However to resolve the matter I sent the goods back to them on 10/9/2010 thru Blue dart. However to my harrasment they refused to accept the parcel without giving any reason. Blue dart made several attempt and I also spoke to Living Media team but despite assurance their people did not accepted the parcel. Now Blue dart is in the process of returning the same to me. I spent Rs 763/- for dispatch.

Complainant's Goal: Deliver on their promise and compensation for delay & harrassment
