Hi,
I have LG LED TV model 32LE5500. It was bought around 2011 January.
Recently it had problem that there was no display and complained to LG service centre and they visited at home and informed me that the Mainboard of this TV is at fault and has to be replaced that costs around 7000rs. The service guy informed me that he'll go to his office and raise for this spare part and will inform me.
And he called me today and informed that this spare part is no longer available with LG??? and therefore my TV cannot be fixed??? LG discontinued the model and stopped the supply of the spare parts for this model?
Now I'm surprised and confused that within 5 years of product cycle there are no parts available for my TV? and I'm not sure what to do with my 48500rs (at the time of purchase) worth of LED TV? I'm shocked at this response from a reputed company. By the way this LED TV model was very popular and was sold to many customers and I wonder what will happen to them.
Could someone give me a solution about what to do about this?
Same problem here I'm from Sri Lanka I brought LG LED TV Model : 32LE5500 in 2013 , i got problem in my TV its stuck Displaying LG Logo , i brought it to the LG Service center here (Abance) they said main board problem & they says spares not available if i want repair it they says it will cost me Rs.70,000 very funney 32 inch brand new TV i can buy for Rs.40,000 So this is how LG treat there customers my advice is for everyone never buy LG products.
My LG 32LE5500 suddenly doesn't show the picture while we were enjoying one of our favorite programs . A service executive visited based on the toll free no based complaint and asked us to replace the board which will cost 8500rs. i think it is around 3 years, 4 months that i purchased the tv
Most of my products are LG and i am a strong believer in the LG quality and design. Now i am afraid i am wrong. Fingers crossed on other LG products - Fridge,oven, mobile phone........

VERY VERY STRANGE!!!!! My 32" LED TV of same model stopped working on the very same day.
When I called the LG service engineer, they mentioned that the parts is not available and I will be given 15% exchange rate for the TV if I buy a new one. And kind of insistence from their side.
THIS IS UTTER CHEATING!! A PRODUCT GOES BAD IN 4 Yrs and 1 Month and the Parts are not available!!
I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BUY ANY MORE LG PRODUCTS!! This is it!!!

Hi all, am also one of the victim, bought Same model TV during 2011. A month before TV stopped working called customer service. Then the service guy said the same answer - model has been stopped, no spare,go with local service for second hand mother board. Then I checked with local service center, many said mother board not available and some are charging Rs. 8000/- for spare plus service charge. I feel very unhappy with this decession of LG. They should have planned for supplying at least spares for at least 10 years after stopping the model. My loyalty with LG has come down. I I'll wait for another few days and go with some other brand if LG didn't respond. My no: ********72
