LG Electronics India - LG Co sold defective CTV & not giving any support service for one & half months

Dear Sir/s,

Sub : Complaint against M/s. LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. for selling defective CTV to me

I would like to bring to your kind notice that I purchased one LG 14” CTV (Model: 14SB2BB-AJ ATRDLIN & Sl. No: 204GCXM 036754) of Rs.4,600/- (Rupees four thousand six hundred only) from M/s. Sreema Electronics, 98/1E, Gopal Lal Tagore Road, Kolkata – 700 036 (Phone:033-25773390) vide Cash Memo No.80880 dated 18.05.12 which has been giving trouble from the beginning i.e. from the date of purchase.

Though I made several phone calls to their Toll Free No.1800-180-9999 against which I received I.D. Nos. RNA 121********3 dated 9.10.12, RNA 121013052465 dated 13.10.12, RNA 121019039906 dated 19.10.12, RNA 121121084215 dated 21.11.12, Nil dated 23.11.12 & RNA 1211226034731 dated 26.11.12 from them and sent emails to their Customer Service Centre and their Head & Corporate Office at Noida since 9th October, 2012, even my TV has not been repaired or replaced till today. More than one and half months had already been elapsed from the date of my complaint which please note. Only one day one service engineer had visited my house and tried to repair the same but failed to do so. He assured me that he would replace the Picture Tube immediately as the said Picture Tube is defective, but he did not keep his gentleman commitment. I am really confused whether the said product was tested or not. I am sure that the company had sold the defective / untested CTV to me that’s why they ignore my appeals straightway. I do not know who would compensate to me for their negligence during that period.

From the Customer Service Centre, everybody has been assuring me that the new Picture Tube is ready for delivery for replacement but not yet done which please note.

I would request you to please look into this matter very seriously and take necessary steps so that I can get the new CTV against the defective one immediately. Please also ask them to extend the warranty period another two/three months as I have no fault even now.
