I got threatening and abusive call from mobile number, 0********76. He named himself Chaudhari and told that he is DSP in Dehli police. He knows all my residential details and my professional details.

Complainant's Goal: Who is the caller and why did he threaten me.

Sahil I got a similar call sometime back, the person asked me to get in touch with some gauri pradhan for settlement. Could you tell me what happened in your case and if it was a prank call.

My mother got a call from Delhi number ********82(IDEA) saying he is a police official and a case is lodged for fraud.
He has my Residential details too..
I called IDEA but they said they cannot help in this and told me to take the help of police in this.

Service Providers should give some way out to ordinary people so they can help themselves (by filing a complaint, repetitive complaints on the same number should be brought in attention to the police )and not going to police at the first shot.
