Tata Sky - I am not satisfied with the service of Tata Sky

My name is Aditi and my subscriber id is 10********.

I was facing a problem with the network of tata sky as there were no signals showing on my television. I called the customer care who kept me over the call for 20 minutes but did not give me any solutions. She told me that she will send the technician the next day.


I requested if the technician could come a little early as I had to leave for my work at 10 am. The customer care said no to the same and said that the earliest their technician can come is at 10 am only.

I said OK for the same but the next day I waited for the technician till 11 am and finally asked one of the electricians in my building if he can help me with fixing the problem. He said he will try. This electrician went and checked the wires, one of which was a little loose on the dish. He fastened it and the problem was solved.

I received a call from Tata sky technician at 12 noon asking what time he can come. I told him not to come as the problem already got sorted.

Now Rs. 150 has been deducted from my subscription fee as the technician's fee. I called the customer care 24 hrs before as my subscription was about to expire due to them deducting the wrong amount. They said that someone from there end will call me and this problem will be rectified within 24 hours. Just 15 minutes back I received a call and the person is telling me to wait for another 24 hours for this issue to get rectified.

This is not the first time I had faced this issue.

Once earlier when I had made a complaint for a similar thing and I had asked the customer care if the technician could come after 6 as I had to work till 6. The customer care person straight away said no and said that 6 pm was the last time that the technician could come so I made my arrangements at work and accordingly came back early keeping a lot of my work pending. The technician arrived at my place at 7:30 pm.

I am really upset with the pathetic service and the false fees which has been put by the Tata Sky people and would like to discontinue their services and want to return the Set top box with the entire amount to be refunded to me.

You must try other sources of contacting Tata Sky to ensure your work gets done. You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly or you can contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done. You can write to them at help@tatasky.com or call their Toll Free Number at 1-800-1806633. The best part is it is available 24X7. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve your issue.
