I purchased dell laptop on 16 October 2013 but till today i.e(26 sept 2014 ) my warranty fr the laptop has not been updated,i contacted the dealer but in spite of approaching him several time he was unanswerable to my problem I m frustrated because i am experiencing problem with the touch-pad and USB port . Customer care is saying that my warranty period is over as per the data online available hence they cant take my request . I SWITCHED FROM HP TO DELL JUST BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE KNOWN FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT IT IS PROVING TO BE WRONG IN THIS CASE .
