Sir/Madam
Due to lack of direct transport facility (bus service) from Chinmayanagar to Music academy, I prefer auto whenever there is time constraint. Yesterday there was heavy traffic and I have to reach early for my friend\'s reception in Chinmayanagar, so I took an auto from Royapettah(Acropolis) he asked me 150rs, but I argued for 130 rs, but then since I was in hurry I said OK. He asked me to get down at Koyembedu itself but I refused, but after leaving me at home he asked me to give 250 rs. He told that I did not hear it properly while getting in the auto. I could not tolerate this unlawful act, how can he charge so much for travelling from Royapettah to Chinmayanagar? In fact I can go to Coimbatore with that money. I asked help from my mom, she argued with him, but since he spoke abusive words-my mother gave 250 rs. My salary for a day is less than that, since I have to be on time for my close friend\'s marriage I had to tolerate those things. I expect a huge support from you for resolving this issue. If you insist on the auto-men to use meter there will be no problems/issues like this. In Kerala it is not like this, the auto-men behaves lawfully and charges according to the meter, then why Tamilnadu lacks this rule? I request the traffic police to conduct regular checking for meters in the auto, especially ask the passengers about how he charges (using meter/unlawfully).
