I had booked air ticket with spicejet air to travel from Varanasi to Bangalore on 12 Mar 12. Now I wanted to cancel the same, which I requested them by email. On the ticket Terms and Conditions it is clearly mentioned that if it is special fare, Rs 750 will be deducted and rest will be refunded back.
Now When I asked them to cancel the tickets, they say that since it is a special fare ticket, they will not be cancelling it. Also after I will be declared as 'No Show' on 12 Mar 12, then I can claim for the refund of taxes.
This clearly shows that they do not want me to cancel the ticket but declare me as absent and then eat up all the money, which seems to be a FRAUD.
I would like to bring this to the notice of all. Mt ticket reference is PNR No : X95HCB.
I am enclosing the mail conversation below for reference:-
