IFB Industries - Horrible Service by IFB

I have IFB Washing Machine, Elena model. Initially I lodged a complain that my Was hing Machine is not working on 16th Feb 2016. One technician came next day and went away saying that some parts have to be replaced. I was expecting a quotation for the service and waited for 5 days. Customerservice@ifbglobal.com is doing disservice to the customers. I They simply do not care about your mails. For my 11 reminders, I received one response.

Local Service Center(So called) obviously does not have qualified technicians. I think they have some targets to loot the clients for spare parts and luring them in to AMC.

In nutshell, The problem is not resolved even after 10 days even after replacing spare parts worth Rs. 4,200. Now they say Timer is not functioning and needs to be replaced. And this on top of some spare parts(Most of them like hose pipe) getting replaced 6 months ago chargingme Rs 7,200/- from the same Service Center. They say that the parts they replace do not carry any warranty and that I should go for AMC. Sick of listening to this repeatedly.

I have advised all my friends not to go for any IFB appliance as the service is the worst to put it mildly. I am also planning to move Consumer Forum against them.

My dear fellow consumers - If you want peace of mind and save your money, do not go for IFB appliances.

I fully agree with you. The Machine is really very good but the service is absolutely useless. When you lodge a complainmt the so called engineer warns us that if he simply touches the machine we have to pay a service charge of Rs. 580/-. For small parts like water inlet washer, belt, o ring of the lint drain etc which cost less than 100 to 200 rupees you have to pay a service charge of Rs. 580/-. The company purposefully does not make these small parts available at their local dealer only to keep the service center alive. Reputation of a very good foreign company is being ruined by the Indian Francnise

I have been waiting from the 7th of June to get my Microwave repaired. Several phone calls even to some "top " executives have not helped. For customers who have emptied their pockets to by an IFB appliance, now I know what 'IFB' stands for - "I F***ked you B*****d", because once your money is in their pocket why should they care for any service?

Myself Pendem Naganjaneyulu and my customer ID 2683108 and registered mobile no. is ********33, My washing machine is not working since 20th May 2017 and I had made a complaint to IFB customer care regarding the machine problem twice over phone (TIcket no.1105595016 & 1105727454) and several times I had called the local customer care executives and they are not responding properly and the issue is still not resolved, we are very loyal to IFB brand, but customer service in our region is very pathetic of your particular brand even though we got insurance for the machine, we Request you to kindly intervene and resolve the issue as early as possible.

I have purchased the IFB washing (machine automatice top loading) on 31-March-2014 from Khoshla Electronincs, Kolkata. The machine had developed an unsuall sound since some days. I had raised a complaint with the customer care vide a ticket 1103398586. The service expert arrived at my place. He couldn't open the machine properly and damaged my machine. He broke my machine and now asking for Rs.5,000 odd for repairing the machine. The machine had same issue sometimes back during the warranty period. The machine was not serviced properly. I have a harrowing experience with IFB products now. I strongly feel that IFB is ruining it's reputation over the time.
I have been an ardent supporter of IFB Industries for it's quality and level of customer service. If this is the level of service, then I am afraid I will be forced to move to consumer forum.
Can I request you to resolve the issue as soon as possible?

I think my brother has very rightly commented on the service part of IFB services. Mine is the same experience. I got registered a complaint with IFB Customer care on 12/07/2016 and today on 05/08/2016 the complaint is still pending and unresolved. While I have been in regular touch with Customer Care, and have already called thrice,but I wonder why they hesitate to tell me the address of the service center (at Patiala). I got two phone numbers from the Customer Care,one of Kiran and another of Naresh, both of them do not pick the phone.
Surprised and feel disturbed with the services rendered by this International Brand.
If by mistake any of my friends have purchased IFB product, please-please do not go for extension of AMCs,rather buy a new product of other brand instead.
