Hindustan Unilever - Horrible service and product quality and customer harassment

We had purchased pureit marvella ro on 24-may-2016 from big bazar for 14, 999/-. We have been facing issues with its filters since the first 20 days of its use, although the product specification suggests that it has a capacity of 4000 liters. The water from appliance is being used by a family of 3 people for drinking and cooking purposes.
It was never mentioned to my parents that this is a shittest quality product and we will have to spend 3k-to 4k every 2 months to keep it in working condition after spending 14, 999/- on its purchase.
After every 20 – 30 days the purifier used to stop functioning. My mother had to literally follow up at the call centre at least 5-6 times to get it back into working condition.
The purifier was not in working conditions for 2 months post which the filter was replaced on several follow-ups in the month of feb.
It stopped functioning in the month of nov 2016 and even after several complaints no body turned up to get it back into working condition. Only on threatening to file a case against the company the technician turned up and replaced the filters which again stopped functioning in the month of march-2017.
In-spite of several complaints my parents (Aged above 55 years) have been harassed by the technician who says that he is not going to come and check the problem till we pay for the filter and get it replaced every 2 month.
It is the worst experience that we have had. Previously we used kent purifier which worked in great condition for 7 years.
