I resigned from my Job on 31st March, 2018 due to ailing health and to take care of my widowed mother after approx. 20 years of service in an American Multinational “Rockwood Lithium India Pvt Ltd” as a General Manager – Marketing and Sales.
After almost 3 months ( 2 months is the waiting period), I submitted my manual application to PF office in Thane at EPFO Regional Office Thane, Vardian Commercial Complex, 6Th Floor, M.I.D.C., Road No. 16, Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane for full withdrawl of my PF only and not for pension.
Claim : Claim I.D. – THTHA 180700019105 received at EPFO Thane on 20/07/2018. This claim was rejected by the EPFO Office , which mentioned on their website that my employers signature was not tallied. On contacting my employer, the concerned authority mentioned that they had updated the EPFO office about new person authorized to sign the PF document, and had submitted this way back on the 3rd April, 2018 and got the letter stamped by the EPFO Office. This signatories signature was totally matching the manual form submitted. Hence rejection by EPFO office on basis of signature not tallying is totally incorrect.

I was then advised by my employer to submit the online form on the EPFO website, which was pre-authorized and generated by my employer and Aadhar verified through OTP from EPFO website. This form was successfully sent, and received at EPFO Office on 17Th August, 2018. The claim ID for my second claim was : THTHA 180850007707. Again when I ccked the portal of EPFO to track claim status it showed Claim received and sent to concerned office. This was the status till ALMOST THE 5Th of September, 2018. On checking the status on the 13Th September, I discovered the status saying my claim is rejected and the reason being : PDF File NOT OPEN”
My second application submitted through online portal, and Aadhar verified has again been rejected after 1 month stating that PDF File cannot be opened.

Please help me in getting my final settlement as soon as possible as I have already submitted both the manual and online forms and all proofs and supporting from employer are available.

I have registered an online complaint at the grievance colum at EPFO portal and got a complaint number as : ROTHA/E/2018/09129 on the 13Th September, 2018. The person assigned to this complaint is Ms. Pooja Singh – Regional PF Commissioner.
