Hi,

We have taken cable connection for 1 of our television.

- Intially we have paid Rs.1500 towards set up box - ( which we were told will be new one ) and installation charges even though they
have not fixed even single meter of cable as they used existing service provider cable.

- At the time of installation they fixed a old setup box and they assured that within 10 days new setup box will be provided.

- The trouble started with set up box - lot of time taken in initialization and we have to switch on and off the set up box atleast 3 times

- Abnormal sound from the setup box.

- Was following continiously but the reply was new boxes was yet to come.

- We registered a complaint on on 04-04-2011.

- They sent a boy with one more old setup box , when we asked him whether it was new one he started talking nonsense.

- His attitude was not good and we sent him back saying that let them disconnect the cable - the boy was alomost threatening and staring my wife.

Today i was at home - normally only my mother and wife stay in house during day time.

Seeing the boys attitude , i am sure the cable opertator must be having more people like this.

I would like to regsiter a complaint that the cable opertaor may resort to rowdism.

Please suggest any further action that i should take in this regard.
