A helix coffee table (Sales Order No 986262 dated 27/6/2016) was purchased from Bhagirath Interiors Godrej Interio (Invoice No 2001) on 6 th July 2016. The table was received with manufacturing defects of welding and scratches on the glass top. The same was replaced on complaint.
Thereafter another complaint was made for shaky legs and the technician visited on 2 nd October 2016. The nut bolt of the table were fastened well.
Yet another complaint was registered on 29 th November 2016 for the leg which came off the table and separated the glass top. This was the third complaint made ever since the table has been received. All the complaints have a remark mentioned on the physical copy.
Its saddening to say that Godrej used to manufacture the products themselves but ever since it has been manufactured abroad there isn't thorough quality check. Also there is a vast difference in the quality procured. I have used Godrej Cairo Model earlier and was very happy with it but back then it was being manufactured in India itself. It had a floral itched design on the glass top which made it stand out and our decision not to buy Cairo but to go for Helix was the elegant design only.
I would be happy if this helix coffee table is replaced with Cairo coffee table once in for all to avoid future problems with its use. Looking for a resolution at the earliest. The complaint is still unresolved since 29 th November 2016.
