Myself and my son Rahul sharma went to PNB, Branch Amroha Gate, Moradabad to deposit Rs. 310000.00 in the account 032********59008 which belongs to my son Rahul Sharma and My wife Radha Sharma. We went to deposit the money because I received a spam mail of refund of tax . In the spam mail the mailer asked some informatiopns about my internet banking to send the refund in my account32041033098 in SBI, Chaurasi Ghanta Branch , Moradabad. This thing I shared with the Bank staff of SBI and they advised me to withdraw the money from the above account. So I withdraw Rs. 140000.00 and left small amount money nearly Rs 4000.00. The cashier Mr Sabir Ali (SBI) gave me 37 notes of Rs 1000.00 denominations and 12 notes of 500 denominations. So I took this and added in this further Rs.170000.00 because I have to make a payment to builder on the same day by cheque. We took whole money to deposit in the account of my son and my wife. My Dharm Prakas counted the money one by one and in the last he showed me 11 notes of 500 denominations which were actually 12. I told him that I just withdraw from SBI ( Chaurasi Ghanta , Branch) and there were 12 500 notes not 11 . But he did not listen then I gave him one 500 note to supplement the amount. There was no transparency in his counter because there was no glass in his counter and he counted notes without showing under the cover of wood. Then I went to Deputy Manager of the branch but he did not pay my heed. After this incident I went to SBI and everybody told me with confidence the Mr Prakash has taken one note out of 12. Again I talked to several of my friends who are retired employees of different banks they repeated the same thing. So I request you please take necessary action in this regard. I also want to mention here that I am an NRI.
