On 17/9/10 I got a call from Rohit Sharma from the no. 0120 3310700 at 5 P.M. stating that I have won a Gold Box worth Rs.3,30,000/- (Rupees Three Lacs Thirty Thousand) on the basis of previous purchase made by me from India Today Book Club. Previously also I have ordered products from India Today Book Club thrice and recevied the products ontime. So, trusting on the brand name INDIA TODAY I made payment of Rs.14,996/- & Rs.15,998/- through my credit card for the Gold box taxation and processing charges. I was told that right now it is 5 p.m. so we won't be able to transfer the amount in your bank account, instead of that will process a cheque no. 270586 from IDBI Bank Ltd.for Rs.3,30,000/- at your residence address and within 3 working days cheque will be delivered at your residence.but, more then 6 working days had passed and I am still waiting for a cheque.
On 24/9/10 I got call from Husain from 011 43798300 giving his emplyee no. as SH8002 that whatever was committed by Rohit is fake and we will refund the entire amount within 4 working days and asked me to again make me a payment of Rs.22794/- and Rs.10698/- for the Gift box.
I am feeling really sad of INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB AND LIVING MEDIA INDIA LTD. for these kind of frauds and I wanted a refund of Rs.30,994/- immediately.

living media is a fraud company,instead of sending 5 books they send only 3 books and useless books, if they did n't respond after reading this complaint we will lodge this complaint using face book and tweeter

yes this is complain one mr udaypratap singh from delhi called up and and introduced india today group and promise to give holiday package in USA against payment .we have been ask to make payment thro credit card we have already made payments on 16 th of feb 2011 now no one responds or no one picks up the phone nor any forms have been sent our booking no id ********5 and second boookin no id is ********6 on dated 16th feb
it is really shame on such a big group who employees such a irresponsible people and i suspect even fruad also

I support this complaint beacuse they are cheated to me in year 2009 september thay are taken money from the credit card me and not dilvered the items or my money when I enquired they said the items are laying in the despatch section pertaining of my order No's are as follows:4400008559,440008607,440008676,440008681 and 440008920 again I contacted to the indiatoday they said despached but so far I am not received there is no reply when I contacted and sent a so many mails they are not bothered to give any reply and once again I contacted and I enquired that my adress they said Rajasthan and Sholapur adress but my residence adress is in Bangalore are there I think the tele callers are taking money from us and delivering the goods are to thier relatives in this reagard I will planing to issue an legal notice to company and bring into media if not replied my complaint or mail
