Complaint by: Vivek on August 16, 2010, 2:42 pm in Credit Cards

Hi,

Today I received a call from a mobile no. ********37 stating that he was a police official and was calling from ITO Headquarters, Delhi and I have a Non Bailable arrest warrant issued against me and and a police constable is standing outside my old home which I have left around 4 Years back to arrest me. An further persuasion he gave me the number of an advocate Mr. Koul (********34) stating that he has processed my warrant. On calling this gentle man I came to know that he is an advocate for Axis bank and as I had not settled my dues and he had send summons to my address in which I no longer reside and my office which on inquiry I did not find any he had got the warrant issued. On asking on ways of how to solve the same he gave me the number of some Mr. Kumar (********27) who as per him is a manager in Axis Bank.

Before I could call this guy I again revived a call from the person who said he is a police officer and he insisted me to give my current address which I refused. I then told him that I am sitting in a police station in Delhi and am ready to get arrested from there. To my surprise he started shouting like anything and said that who told me to go their and started threatening me for no reason.

My story with Axis Bank is that due to some financial crisis I was not able to pay my bills and had settled my account with this bank in Aug'09 with 6 Installments. I had paid 3 installment and post that I never received any call from any one to collect the money and when I called the person collecting the installments he said that he had left Axis and some one else would be with me shortly. But I never received any call until today.

At first I got a bit tensed and later, on consulting with a friend told me that this in nothing but a trick used by the collection agents to scare a customers and collect money.

I want to file a legal case against this. Kindly confirm further action that I need to take against the same.

Thanks

Hello,

I was holding the CREDIT CARD of AXIS Bank. I have called them so many times to activate the net banking to pay the bills so I should not waste my time going to different centers for payment. There was no follow up after my call from the customer care and I waste all my money and got long bill of my mobile. I have also sent them many emails but no follow up after that also.
Even after closing the account they are still sending the bills to me. I have sent them emails regarding this but still there is no follow-up. I have all the logs if anybody is interested for the same.

I request everybody that NEVER USE AXIS CREDIT CARD. They are very very bad.

Please email me at xpert.developer@gmail.com for more information.

Regards,
Nishant Modi

The above mentionted person not only threaten me but also used filthy languages which I cannnot write down.I think the bank Authority should take immidiate action to find the truth. And one thing this is the against the Law.

Dear today dt 25-Aug'10, me too received the same threat from the same above given no. and told me he is a commissioner in delhi had arrest warrent against me, he even threat for life i wont give him my new address. this is totally against the law how can Axis Bank gives case to Recovery Agents like this who makes fraud calls to any person and gives a threat of life and uses vulger language to any customer and why police is not taking action against such guys who tells themseif Commissioner in delhi and ask for money, my point is if he gives threat and will take 50,000 from anyone and will not submit it in Axis bank by either giving fake receipt to the customer then this is totally cheating. I request officials kindly take necessory action against such persons or agents calling from the given no. " ********37 ".
thanks
