I purchased flight tickets online on 11th Jan 2011 using my credit card. I received a call from the company to confirm my transaction over the phone. The agent requested my credit card details to verify the transaction. I asked the agent whether I was going to be charged twice for the same transaction to which he confirmed that I would not be charged twice for the same transaction. After reconciling my credit card account; I noticed there were 2 transactions of the same amount debited to my credit card on the same date. I raised the initial complaint with service@makemytrip.com on 8th Feb 2011 intimating them of the transaction error.
The response was the company needed 72hrs to revert. There have been several such 72 hrs missed deadlines and I have still not received a resolution / refund of the excess amount. I request your assistance in helping me resolve my issue.

I had to follow up rigirously with the Founder & CEO of the company. I got the entire refund of the over charged amount in parts. The case has been resolved to my satisfaction.
