Our flat was close to handover and we had dropped in to Creative Lights on Teynampet for a quick check on what was available. When we stepped in there were other customers but were told it was closing time at 7pm. We said it was for a quick look and we could come back another day for a detailed look. This is how the conversation goes:
(I just clicked a picture on my phone of a light that I liked)
Proprietor -"Madam, no photography allowed and I need you to delete the one you have taken" (which I did right there. We had been to Classic Lights, MS Lites where no one stopped us from clicking photos of the pieces we liked)
Me-"Oh, but how do I show what I like to my interior designer?"
Proprietor-"You will have to bring him to the store"
Me- "The guy comes in late evenings for the design meetings!"
Proprietor -"That your problem, not mine!"
At this point we just exited the store. I would like to respond here that "You just lost a customer and that's your problem not mine!"
The 'no photography' is fine coz I deleted the picture immediately. The last comment was just plain RUDE!!
I am of the opinion the proprietor should have pasted a notice infront of the shop that,
NO Photography is allowed inside the shop.
So that unwarranted embarrasing situation between the customer and the proprietor could have been avoided.

the owner refuses to give a bill for the goods. every time he insists we pay cash and threatens us with a extra fee if we pay by card or ask for a baill. he is resourceful to suggest that we draw money from deutsche bank next door . when we need to return a defective light it becomes an issue as he doesnt accept . i have never seen shops that so blatantly dont want to give a bill and threaten you to the contrary
