I have been struggling since past 4 years to avail VACATIONS or get my due amount back.

It was 4 years back in Feb'2010, that I was called up by Country Vacations office in Lucknow. When I visited their office, after explaining me the membership schemes, I was asked if I was interested in membership. But upon my apprehension that 'how can one be sure of the services being shown on paper' & invest a huge amount.........I was given an offer that I should pay just 10,000/- (all incl) & avail 6N/7D destination anywhere in India. At that time I was told that I will not have to pay anything extra for availing the destination. I was offered to visit Kerela by their official (Mr.Chaturvedi), as a Demo destination. I agreed & paid Rs.10,000/- through credit card....which was swiped by them immediately.

But when I tried to contact them after a few months for booking a vacation for Dec'2010, I was given different reasons for not being able to book the same - ranging from....the said destination is full & we cannot book it for you....to even....you don't have your membership no. so we cannot go ahead with the bookings. When next year I tried to book....by calling on their booking helpline number, I was told that it is too early & that I should contact a month before booking date. Thereafter, the above excuses of destination being full & not having membership no. was repeated.

They have been shifting their offices every now & then. Even the latest address given in their last mail doesn't hold good anymore.

They are neither providing vacations since past 4 years....nor ready to refund my amount. And now in order to extract more money they are asking for taxes.

I have been given a number of Ms. Vimla Tiwari -********96. Upon contacting her, she simply denied refund and said that the amount is non-refundable. On the other hand she say that the company does not have any provision of temporary membership & thus we cannot do anything about Rs.10,000/-. Their verdicts DO NOT REMAIN SAME.

The agony doesn't seem to end even after 4 years.
