My Complaint is regarding Club Group of Hotels (Mountain Club Resort India Pvt. Ltd.) Club Group of Hotels has head office in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand,
Club Group of Hotels, through its marketer M/s Destination Resorts India (P) Ltd., organizes membership sales camps at various places offering free gifts and free holiday vouchers.
At the time of taking the membership, we were informed by their representatives that we are entitled for 6 nights, 7 days free of cost holidays per year at various resorts and hotels mentioned in the list provided to us, and we need not pay any extra amount for 3 years for availing the vacations.
I have taken membership from Ansal Plaza Gurgaon, after paying Rs 70000 with Receipt No 3160, with a promise from Mr dev(8527026711) and Mr sumit Jhanji(9839388895) with their senior mr Manish Gupta(Mobile 9717440999) that this membership can be cancelled any time during the membership period.
When I asked for the agreement clause they differed by writing and stamping the same that :if you cancel after 7 days only admin fee will be deducted: signed and stamped by Mr Dev.
I scanned all documents and send to Email Id email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org,email@example.com, for confirmation, but did not got any response.
Then i asked for availability during non peak timing and i was told their is no availability.
On 23rd Jan i asked for Shimla availability and manali availability after many reminder on 5th Feb i responded that in both places their is no availabilit. Is this type of service I paid rs 70000. I am highly annoyed and unsatisfied with your services.
Then i request for the refund, i was told by mr rakesh(9999805424) that this membership is non refundable, then i understood the fraud and trap i was in. I wrote several mail for refund to firstname.lastname@example.org and talked to mr rakesh as this is a real case of fraud and miss selling under consumer protection act. I have given a proof by sending scan copy of agreement where Mr dev have written, signed and stamp it.
i was told that your case is refereed to HO and they will take a call. After waiting for many days and regular followup from mr rakesh i got this reply" This is to inform you that the H.O had denied your cancellation request . They had waived off your AMC for the first 3 years (which was already been promised and awarded to me during my negotiation while purchasing,) and also add the clause that after having a holiday , if you are not going to satisfy with the services of our resorts , you can go for the cancellation after deduction of applicable govt. taxes .
Now, looking at the unprofessional behavior and intentions of Club Group of Hotels and its Marketer M/s Destination Resorts India (P) Ltd., we have decided to discontinue the membership. Since they have failed to fulfill the commitments, I want my full money back with interest and with compensation for mental harassment. We have conveyed this to the Club Group of Hotels.
Upon searching on internet I have seen some online complaints made by some other members also facing same kind of problem with Club Group of Hotels.
