With all due respect i would like to state that i got a reservation done from Sahibganj,SBG to HWH, under Malda division Eastern Railways on 27.08.2009 at 12.10p.m.PNR no-623-1625953.I was alloted side upper and upper berths despite of my repeated persuassions that my ailing mother aged 58 years,a blood pressure and an acute eye patient would face problems in alighting.The railway booking staff v.i.z Mr Mangu Razak said that there are no vacant seats except the two.But on the internet to my utter chagrin i found the Indian Railways site showing 70 vacant seats and at around 3p.m there were still 60 vacant seats and i have a print out of that to adduce as an evidence any time you demand.Upon bringing this to his notice he said the site exaggerates the seats and the reality is something different.It has further come to my knowledge that he allots seats according to his whims and caprices for reasons best known to him.Do the Indian Railways allot such seats to aged persons where lower berts are earmarked for persons aged 45years and above?Kindly direct the appropriate authority to look into the matter and oblige.
