I wanted to buy airtel digital tv hd recorder. I left my mobile number and name on airtel site. Airtel executive called me back immediately and asked my requirement. he convinced me to pay money and he will get me connection within 24 to 48 hours. I told him that I will pay money once I someone comes with connection. But he told me that it is company's policy to first pay and they will come and install. I paid 4790 Rs on phone through IVR. Very next day, Airtel engineer visited my place and said that it is not possible to install it due to dome direction issues. I asked him why did they not check it before taking money. He said that's how company works. I called airtel customer care and asked about it. They told me to cancel connection and they will return money. They did not give me details when and how can I get my money back. I am stuck and I cannot ask any other vendor because my money is stuck with Airtel.

1. They took money without checking my apartment if it is possible to install it or not.
2. They did not give me details of when and how will they return my money.
3. I am stuck with airtel and cannot proceed with any other vendor without being responsible for any mistake.
