I have been a Hyunda user over the past 10 years, and have the experience of cars like Santro, Xing and presently Verna Fluidic. But i have to admit that the customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability of Hyundai vehicl
es over the past 10 years have gone southwards.
Santro ==> was a 10/10
Xing ==> was a 8/10
Verna 2014 ==> 4/10
one of the major deciding factors for buying the verna fluidic was Hyundai's Quality and After sales service. unfortunately I have had very very poor experience on both the counts.
1. My car Had 2 warranty claims (one in the braking system and one on the exhaust system) in the forst 12 months of running. Claims are OK but what is the track record for safety and quality.
2. More recently while my car is still in warranty the tyre of the car just disintegrated during one of the highway drives with family. (a dreadful experience when 5 hour journey turns into a 11 hour ordeal).
My recommendation to all those who read this will be that Hyundai is now lowered their standards to the likes of its lesser reliable compitetors (intentionally not naming them). They no longer are the Hyundai who made relaible and safe cars.
While making the choice please consider these, I guess you could save a few Lakhs on the buy, afterall Hyundai is no better than the compitetors in the market.
