Dear all,

MR. sankaranaryanan is the prop of this SRi sankara caterers whichis in 3/2 jonehan lane,Mandeveli pakkam chennai-28 also has a website in the name of www.srisankaracaterers.com.
I got his no from just dial before we called him he directly came to our house at 10:30 in the night spoke about their quality of food preparation and uniformed service in length. we also gave him the advance.(half amount)
On the day of function which is supposed to start at 6 pm the catering service came at 7:45. the food items that they bought was horrible to the core. even the rice was spoiled and gave a bad smell. All the relatives and friends who came their was very angry with us.we were unable to do any thing to this guy.
My family has still not recovered from this incident and we are not able to walk on the streets and my parents are with full of stress and their not able to sleep because of this. think about 200 odd people who came from far of places who just spit on our faces.

This issue has to be taken up seriously.

We spoke with Sankaranarayanan (mobile 99413 97422) and ordered Typical Authentic Pure Brahmin Food without Garlic, Onion, Soambu etc (Breakfast and Lunch) from Sri Sankara Caterers @ West Mambalam, Chennai 600 033 for a Grahapravesam function last week.

Though he spoke in Brahmin Tamil Accent and convinced that he will provide quality & timely food & service, there are huge blunders and caused embarrassment among Brahmin people (relatives) especially senior citizens who do not consume Onion & Soambu.

1. Breakfast was having onion
2. Lunch was having Fennel seeds (Soambu) which spoilt the taste of traditional authentic Brahmin food
3. Breakfast arrived 1 hour 30 minutes late (I ordered to deliver by 8.30 am, reached by 10 am)
4. Lunch too arrived 1 hour 30 minutes late (I ordered to deliver by 11.30 am, reached by 1 pm) - relatives who had to travel back to their hometown by train / bus had to leave without having lunch, which was very disappointing.

Sankaranarayanan gave reasons for the delay for breakfast and we requested him to bring lunch on time without any delays. Lunch was delayed as well and he did not pick up his mobile even after trying to reach multiple times, did not return our call. We transferred 83% of the total money to his bank account one day prior.

We were totally disappointed, upset, betrayed, dejected due to the poor quality of the food, bad taste, especially "food violating Brahmin customs and traditions", huge delay in delivery, unprofessional behaviour, unable to contact at times of issue/delay from the caterer side, unwilling to hear/accept customer feedback, overall created embarassment & total waste of money & time. I will never recommend this caterer to anyone else in my lifetime.
